Good deal. You can always put it on FleaBay, I've seen a few go for ridiculous prices.

There were a few people locally that used them back in the late 60's-early 70's. Nobody complained about them or replaced/upgraded to something else, so I guess they were happy.

I would make an offer of about 100 bucks since I have had one before it was ok, did alright, I never really thought the performance was that spectacular but they did work!

I don't remember the exact prices, all I can remember is that they were high. There's a guy who restores them that lists them from time to time. I see there's a listing on there now for just the switching controls with a starting bid of 2 bills.

With the old retro antennas bringing big bucks, I'd imagine you'd have no problem getting at least $350 or so anyway.

Too rich for my blood, I'l just stick with my homebrew pieces/parts.

Doc that's what i payed for it....The guy was call'n me the $20.00 Man...lol
I got a Pal 500 or 600 tube box for 20.00 the garbed two 2pill boxs and told him 20.00 lol i made a kill'n....

I always heard that the switch box was the weak point. Only being able to handle 300 watts

friend had one he put a lot more than 300 thru his never knew how but it worked
